With the death of Prof. Dr. Emajuddin Sir, the nation has lost a great man. Who has fought for democracy, justice, good governance and an independent Bangladesh free from corruption. Originally, he was a well-known and renowned teacher and guardian of the country. These words were said by the speakers present at the discussion organized by the National People’s Forum on the memory of former Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Prof. Dr. Emajuddin Ahmed at the Jadu Mia Auditorium in Naya Paltan on Thursday. President of the organization Mohammad Olid Siddiqui Talukder presided over the function as the chief guest while President of the Jatiya Saran Mancha Engineer AHM Moniruzzaman Dewan Manik, Bangladesh NAP Secretary General M.K. Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan, prominent politician MM Aminur Rahman participated in the discussion. Speaking as the chief guest, Engineer AHM Moniruzzaman Dewan Manik said, Prof. Dr. Emajuddin Ahmed has spoken for the country and the people of the country without any hesitation. Speaking on the occasion, M Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan said that Professor Emajuddin Ahmed was the real guardian of Bangladesh and not of any party or group. Dr. Emajuddin Ahmed was not given due respect and evaluation. The political ideology he believed in, even though they had been in power for a long time, failed to give him due respect.
