Swapan Kumar Singh,Habigonj : Wife  of veteran politician, journalist and ex Srimangal UP Chairman Rasendra Datta died of serious brain stroke at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital at about 9.45 PM on November -21.

Mrs. Indira Datta Chowdhury aged about 75 , wife of eminent  NAP leader Rasendra Datta met a serious brain stroke at about 9.30 PM on November 19 .

Just after the incident She was admitted to Osmani Medical College Hospital in Sylhet where she expired.

She struggled to build her family by sewing and tought her children while her husband was in jail just after assassination of the father of the nation and continued to last day of the death.
