A person named Sixful Mia (50) was arrested along with four (04) stolen cows in a special operation of Kulaura police station of Moulvibazar.
On Wednesday (May 24) the homestead of Sixful Mia was arrested in Hashimpur area under Kulaura police station and he was arrested along with the stolen cow.
The secret information police came to know that there are 04 stolen cows in the cowshed of the house of one Sixful Mia in Hashimpur village of Karmadha Union No. 13. Later on Wednesday afternoon, SI Sujan Talukdar of Kulaura police station went to the spot along with the force and seized 04 cows.
The detained Sixful Mia could not give any correct information regarding the ownership of these 04 cows. During preliminary interrogation, he admitted that the cows were stolen with the connivance of an absconding accused.
The officer in charge of Kulaura police station said that the real owner of the stolen cows has not been found yet. Legal action will be taken if anyone claims ownership. A case under Section 411/109 of the Penal Code has been registered at the Kulaura Police Station against one absconding accused including Sixful Mia who was arrested in this incident
