The Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Health for two years is Professor Dr.  ABM Khurshid Alam.

  On 23 July 2020, he was appointed as the DG of the Directorate of Health.

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Moha on Tuesday.  A notification signed by Rafiqul Islam has been issued.

It is said in the notification, the retired officer of BCS (Health) cadre who was previously employed as the director general of the health department, Professor Dr.  Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam has been re-appointed on contractual basis as Director General of Health Directorate for a period of two years from the date of joining.

It is also said that in the case of this re-contract based appointment, the contract should be executed again with the government keeping the terms and conditions of the previous contract unchanged.
