A social organization named ‘Dhrupadi Paribar’ has organized a ‘Love market at a nominal price’ for low-income and endangered middle-income people during the hard times of the Corona epidemic at Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district recently.
This organisation hands over rice, pulses, oil, sugar, potatoes and other vegetables to the poor people at less than half of the market price.
The service was provided to about 500 families at Uttar Bazar of Chunarughat upazila on May-8.
In last two days about 500 more families were given opportunity of buying these essential products at 40 percent price from the stalls organized in the southern market of Chunarughat.
The event is being held with the participation of all the old and new members of the classical family.
The officials of this organisation said they want to live in various ways for the welfare of the people by carrying out various services.
Dhrupadi is also preparing for another free service program titled ‘One Packet of Eid Sweet Smile Gift’ next to more than two hundred disadvantaged families before Eid.
Broto Dhrupadi family was formed in 2004.
The organization won the first ‘Joy Bangla Youth Award’, the only award at the national level for young people for their contribution to social service in 2015.
