Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has urged the leaders and activists to prepare to win the boat in the next election.

He said this at a discussion meeting organized by Awami League on the occasion of the ‘Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Homecoming Day’ at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Tuesday (January 10) afternoon.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the discussion.

In his welcome speech, Obaidul Quader said, ‘I will call everyone to get ready. Next election ahead. Communal forces in front Militant, terrorist communal forces have entered the field today under the patronage of BNP. They must be resisted, defeated. ‘

He said, “In the next election, we will move forward as a party under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina.” We will end our journey with a boat at the golden port of Vijaya.

Commenting on BNP’s faithful address of sectarianism and militancy, Awami League General Secretary said, ‘We cannot hand over the power of this country to BNP who have created militancy in my country, who have caused the rise of communalism in my country.’

Obaidul Quader said, ‘Those who destroyed democracy in this Bengal. Killed four national leaders in the district. Those who attacked our leader with a grenade attack on August 21 in this Bengal. They took the lives of 23 people including Ivy Rahman, cast 1 crore 23 lakh fake voters, held farcical elections on February 15. We cannot return power to them.
