A monthly meeting on law and order was held at Lohagara in Chittagong.

Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Ziaul Haque Chowdhury Babul, Advisor to the Law and Order Committee and Chairman of the Upazila Parishad addressed the meeting under the chairmanship of Sharif Uliah.

Among others, Lohagara Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman M Ibrahim Kabir, Lohagara Thana OC Muhammad Atiqur Rahman, Upazila Agriculture Officer Kazi Shafiul Islam, Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Mahbub Alam Shawon Bhuiyan, Upazila Election Officer Abdul Shukkur. Deputy Commander Abdul Hamid Bengal, brave freedom fighter Nurul Islam, brave freedom fighter Rafiq Didar, DGM of Lohagara Zonal Office of Chittagong Rural Electricity Association Md Shahjahan, Upazila Ansar and Defense Officer Faizunnecha Begum, Medical Officer of Upazila Health Complex Dr. Sohail Chowdhury.

Former Vice Chairman of Lohagara Upazila Parishad, Nibas Das Sagar, heads of all departments of the upazila, public representatives, political personalities, journalists and others were present.

In the meeting, the steps taken to resolve the traffic jam at Battali Motor Station and against extortion and cow theft in the sacrificial animal market ahead of Eid-ul-Azha Various issues are discussed.
