The human chain of tea labourers was held in protest of the plan to build a bypass road along the border of the
tea estates in Srimangal of Moulvibazar district on June -21.
A human chain program was organized by Panchayat President Sudhir Rikiasan of Bhurbhuria tea estate
to protest against the construction of bypass road along Bhurbhuria, Bharaura and Khaichhara of the finlay tea company in Srimangal of Moulvibazar district.
Bijay Hazra of Balishira Valley President, Baraura Panchayat President Nur Mohammad and Pankaj Kanda, the vice president of Bangladesh Tea labourers union spoke at the end of the human chain.
The speakers said that the tea planters are beset with various problems.
This industry would face an horrendous loss
if the bypass road is constructed through the tea industrial Colony.
