Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has commented that the roots of the Awami League government are very deep and there is no power in the country to overthrow it.

He said this in response to a supplementary question by Member of Parliament Dhirendra Debnath Shambhu during the question and answer session scheduled for the Prime Minister in the National Parliament on Wednesday afternoon.

Announcing stricter action against dishonest traders, the Prime Minister said, “We are taking appropriate action against those who engage in hoarding, black market and LC opening and will continue to do so.” If necessary, we will take more stringent measures.

We will pay special attention so that people do not suffer.
