In Magurchhara Khasi Punji of Sreemangal Upazila, Moulvibazar, a three-day grand program was organized from March 6 to 8 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Youth of Church of God (YCG). The occasion was marked with religious solemnity and a festive atmosphere.
On the first day, a prayer meeting, Bible reading, religious music performances, and discussion sessions were held. Church leaders, youth members, and guests from various regions participated in these events.
The second day featured a special seminar and experience-sharing sessions focusing on the role of youth in society. Speakers emphasized that the youth should actively engage in moral, spiritual, and community service activities. During the entire program, the music group Ka Kynhun Duk performed melodious songs, captivating all attendees.
On the third and final day, the commemorative magazine published for the Golden Jubilee was unveiled. Additionally, a special documentary video on YCG’s 50-year history was screened, providing the audience with an overview of the organization’s progress and achievements. During this event, founding and current members of the Youth of Church of God, along with distinguished individuals who contributed to the church and society, were honored with shawls and commemorative plaques.
Guests present at the event included Reverend Donald Armstrong, Mrs. Caroline Armstrong, Reverend Samuel Dikhar, Reverend Meshak Suja, Reverend Nicodemus Thankiu, Reverend Prechard Warjri, Reverend Pyrin Suiting, and Reverend Avrison Pohtam.
Other attendees included Reverend Romiyus Khongkai, Reverend Dealingson Dikhar, Mrs. Lovely Suchiang, Director of Lumdonbok Mission, Gidison Pradhan Suchiang Headman of Magurchhara Punji, YCG President Evangelist Rilang Suiting, General Secretary Stephen Marlia, various church leaders, local dignitaries, and a large number of youth members.
The three-day Golden Jubilee celebration concluded with a special prayer for the welfare of the nation and the community.
