Tangail, November 23, 2025 – Two friends died in a tragic motorbike accident in Madhupur, Tangail, on Sunday evening. The crash occurred around 7:00 pm at the Rasulpur bend on the Tangail-Mymensingh regional highway.
The deceased have been identified as Yasin Hossain, 35, son of Mokhlesur Rahman Mukul of West Pakutia village in Ghatail, and Rakib, 36, son of Taslim Uddin of Char Fashion in Barishal.
According to locals, the motorbike lost control near the Telki Rasulpur area of Madhupur forest and collided with a roadside pillar. Both riders were pronounced dead at the scene.
Madhupur Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge Imranul Kabir confirmed the deaths, saying, “The motorbike was moving at a high speed. The accident happened due to loss of control.” The bodies have been kept at the Arankhola outpost and will be handed over to the families after preliminary legal procedures.
