On the occasion of Christmas, the largest religious festival of the Christian community, a coordination meeting on law and order was held with representatives of various churches in the district, at the initiative of the Moulvibazar District Police.
The meeting took place on Saturday (20 December) at noon in the conference room of the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Moulvibazar. The meeting was presided over by Muhammad Billal Hossain, Superintendent of Police, Moulvibazar District.
In his speech, he said that in order to ensure that the upcoming Christmas is celebrated in a peaceful, safe, and joyful environment, the Moulvibazar District Police will take comprehensive and necessary security measures. He emphasized that the district police will remain fully vigilant so that the festival can be observed peacefully and joyfully.
He further stated, “Everyone must cooperate in celebrating Christmas by maintaining religious harmony and mutual respect. No negligence will be tolerated in maintaining law and order.”
During the meeting, various issues were discussed, including security arrangements for Christmas, traffic control, sound and electricity management, and the deployment of volunteers.
