Amrita Chatri, a brilliant student from Sreemangal in Moulvibazar, has achieved a perfect GPA-5 in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination under the Sylhet Education Board. She appeared in the exam from Sylhet Government Women’s College, science group, and earned this remarkable result.
Amrita hails from the Purboasha Residential Area of Sreemangal. Her father, Babul Chatri, is a migrant worker, and her mother, Anu Chatri, is a homemaker. Her younger brother, Arnob Chatri, is a seventh-grade student. Earlier, Amrita also secured GPA-5 in her SSC examination.
“I’m grateful to my parents and teachers. In the future, I want to become a doctor and serve the people of my country,” Amrita said, expressing her joy after the result.
Her parents said, “We are proud of her achievement and pray that she fulfills her dream.”
A teacher from Sylhet Government Women’s College described her as “a regular, attentive, and hardworking student who truly deserved this success.”
Along with her studies, Amrita is also active in cultural activities and has a passion for music.
Speaking about his niece’s achievement, journalist Swapan Kumar Singh said,
“Through dedication and discipline, she has achieved this success. Her results have brought pride to our family and the local community.”
Amrita’s family has long been devoted followers of Lord Sri Krishna and the ISKCON movement, guided by Guru Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. The family believes that spiritual discipline has helped shape her sincerity and perseverance.
