It has been reported that Amit Dutta (17), a student of Moulvibazar Government High School, died after his motorcycle hit an electric pole in front of J,R Jewelers shop on M Saifur Rahman Road in Moulvibazar town.
It is learned that the accident occurred at around 6 am today, Saturday, August 23. Amit suffered a serious head injury and suffered a lot of bleeding in the accident. Some passers-by took the bloodied Amit to Sadar Hospital in a rickshaw, where the doctor declared Amit dead. The deceased Amit’s father is Asit Dutta, his home is in Amoil village of Sadar upazila. It is known that he was a 2026 SSC examinee from Moulvibazar Government High School.
Moulvibazar Model Police Station OC Gazi Md. Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the death. He said that when Amit Dutta was taken to the hospital after the motorcycle accident, the doctor declared him dead. The time of death was between 6 and 7 am. The body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy. The case is under process.
