Rajib Paul Doctor’s father Killed Dilip Kumar Paul (78) was killed in a private car accident in Sreemangal on Thursday afternoon.
According to police & Local sources,
The deceased Dilip Paul the father of Dr. Rajib Paul of Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.
The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Sylhet regional highway adjacent to Sadar Union No. 3 on today Thursday, August 28, Dr. Rajib Paul a doctor at Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital, was driving a private car from Moulvibazar to bring his father Dilip Kumar Paul.
When the car came in front of Sreemangal Sadar Union, it lost control and crashed into a tree. Later, when Dilip Kumar Paul was seriously injured and fell ill, his son Rajib Paul took his father to the Sreemangal Upazila Health Complex Hospital.
The doctor on duty declared him dead there.
Dr. Rajib Paul, Resident Medical Officer of Sreemangal Upazila Health Complex, said that Dr. Sharmin Akhter said, “He died before being brought to the hospital. There were no major injuries or cuts on his body.
However, we do not know whether there was any compression at that time or whether there was any internal injury.”
Aminul Islam, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Srimangal Police Station, confirmed the death and said, “The body is at the hospital. We have recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.”
